This customer packs bread buns in one size case for distribution. Plant production operates a 12-hour shift twice a week. Their production line involved two employees hand forming and sealing cases. After implementing the MARQ Q-PacQ Line, they've maximized their uptime with consistent case erecting and sealing, and decreased labor costs ultimately increasing their profits.
The Q-PacQ Line includes the HPE-215 High Performance Case Erector and the long standing HPA-2101 High Performance Case Sealer. This system is completed with an on-demand photo eye and a conveyor system. The cases are erected and bottom sealed by the HPE-215 and then transferred to the packing station. After the cases are packed they are conveyed to the HPA-2101 to be sealed. This semi-automatic case packing process enhances throughput and lowers overall labor costs.
