The customer has worked with MARQ for several years. They have recently purchased two HPV- model F machines--High Performance Vibrators with controlled compression.
In the past they had purchased HPV- model BF (Big Foot Vibrators). In this specific application the smaller case range and higher case speed of the model F would allow them the same level space savings that they were accustomed to with the potential for higher production due to increased case speeds.
As a long time customer they were aware that vibration technology would allow frozen foods producers the ability to reduce the packaging requirements of each case by up to 2" per case. This would not only reduce the amount of corrugated necessary to contain their product but it would better utilize the space necessary to ship it.
Requirements:
¨ They needed to continue the practice of saving corrugated and shipping space by using controlled vibration on their frozen products.
¨ Case presentation should remain consistent for the recently purchased MARQ HPA (High Performance Adjustable) Top and Bottom Glue sealing machines.
Payback:
They knew that payback was inevitable with the enormous amount of corrugated saved and shipping space gained.
