As a manufacturer of heavy metal studs, this customer was looking for a solution to replace his previous Durable machine. The side belt design of was not allowing for the uptime and consistent throughput needed as their business was growing. An upgraded MARQ Sealing Solution was prescribed for the new line being implemented.

MARQ Solution and Advantages:
MARQ's ability to engineer a Solution specific to the customer's application provided a reduced frame size machine incorporating Side Lug Drives. The side lugs were a substantial improvement in propelling the heavy case through the tape applicator. A floating tape head was also prescribed to allow for the minor overpack that sometimes occurred and eliminated the need for more sophisticated packing procedures.
