This customer packages iced cakes into two different size cases for distribution. They run three shifts per day and were erecting their cases by hand prior to implementing the MARQ HPE Case Erector. Demand in production has greatly increased allowing them to do a large expansion to their facility, and adding the new MARQ Case Erector was included in the expansion. Since implementing the MARQ equipment, they have not only met their goals in production but more importantly show a large reduction in labor costs.

¨ Nema 4X electrical package to accommodate facility cleaning requirements.
¨ Guarding package with switches to disengage power/air when door is opened to provide maximum operator safety protection.
¨ On demand control to maintain steady throughput of cases during production operation.
MARQ Solution and Advantages:
The customer was in need of a case erector that could run three shifts per day consistently. They spoke to their distributor, which took them to another facility to view a MARQ machine in operation. The customer was very impressed with the look of the MARQ Case Erector, and after watching it in action, they knew it was their ultimate automation solution. Since implementing the MARQ machine, they have saved a large amount in labor costs and payback will be sooner than anticipated.
